HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 by Lessonguy HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 by Lessonguy
*HUGE PICTURE*
*FULL VIEW PLEASE*
so yeah Happy New Year!

as a gift for the new year i have compiled a time line of my drawings! this was quite fun to make! cuz i was able to look back into my past to see when i started drawing. what do you know i started 1996! wooh long ago..

Hey Kosuke remember these comics we made? XD i still have all of them. :D

so heres some rant about the timeline
````````````````````````````````````````````
1996 - I started drawing alot of comics, influenced by Pokemon, Myself and Kosuke(www.moogleking.deviantart.com) started drawing alot of pokemon comics, lol they were really ugly, but fun to read.
1997 - My first ever OC, Lessonguy was born, from his comics Lesson for *insert pokemon name here*. this comic consists of a bunch of chapters just about Lessonguy teaching(lesson) pokemons a lesson about life, its really funny.
1997- 2000 - These were the time when i started drawing other comics besides pokemon, i got into drawing kirby comics, a random OC i made ..a bird named Known, and Lessonguy Fighters, a lessonguy fighter series comic... which all never went to far. .lol
2001 - 2002 - Best time ever, this is when i first "published" my comic, even though they were simple it had a pretty fun plot of just bashing through tournaments and beating their foes. Meeting Final fantasy characters and other OC's, it was my greatest comic ever. My treasure.
2003 - This is when i tried to "remake" my Lessonguy and Kirby comics, which didnt go so well, so i never really finished it.
2004- 2006 - This was the time when i started to make manga's more "manga" like and also most of the time my manga's were made because i was influenced by the manga/anime i was watching at the time, for example, the manga "Demon Slayer Spike" and "Toora" were based from the anime/manga "Mahoujin Guru Guru". The manga i made called "musashi" was based from the anime/manga "Kojiki no Gashubell"
2007 - This is when i first made my original manga, no influence or anything, also probably the longest i've worked on, but it ended up not doing so well, so i ended it. XP
This is where i ended my "manga" career and i focused more on Illustrations.
Images and Illustration
2006- this is when i first got Photoshop and started to use color on my illustrations. Total noob, i laugh at my old skills, they were terrible.. lol
2006(summer)-2007(summer) after high school i took a year off of drawing.
2007 - I started back on drawing and i started college, from here my coloring started improving, i still needed to get better with character development and postures.
2008 - pretty crazy year, my drawings and coloring style improved soooo much, its amazing.
2009 - yeah i cant wait to see what i can do, i hope it'll change drasitically, i really want to improve on my Background
``````````````````````````````````````````````

Well everyone i hope you all made a new years resolution.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Love all the improvement! And I am amazed at all the volumes you had of your Lesson Guy comics. How long were they?

my lessonguy comics were about 100 pages each, but they were pretty small size, about half a page, tried to make it like a comic book.. XD
it was really a simple story and the drawing were really simple too.

Way to grow as an artist butha'!!! just keep on drawing. :)

Some of your early comic stuff like Mushashi Legend looked pretty neat haha. The panels and art have some nifty imaginative qualities to them I'd say :) And your early stuff is really interesting to look at haha humble beginnings for sure

I'm glad you posted this and I think 2k9 is gonna be a good year for the both of us :)

ROCK ON!!!
